Hospitalization
If necessary, patients may be hospitalized during the day or overnight for treatment and close observation. All animals will be checked on throughout the evening, as needed.
We recommend that all pets be current on vaccinations in the event they need to stay.
Visitation
Visiting your hospitalized pet may cause him / her to become too anxious or excited, and then disappointed when he / she discovers he / she is not leaving with you. At that time, depending on his / her personality and the nature of the illness, visiting may help or hinder recovery. Arrangements to visit a hospitalized animal are made on an individual basis, after consulting with the doctor.
